  • Ashtami lunch is complimentary by courtesy of the Upohar Utsav Committee (UUC) – up to a maximum of four packets per subscriber
  • Only those residents who have paid the Puja subscriptions 2021-22 are eligible to purchase Food Coupons
  • Except for Ashtami lunch, all other meals need to be purchased – we have negotiated the best rates and a superlative menu
  • There will be only dinner on Sashthi and breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saptami, Ashtami, Nabami and Dashami
  • Food coupons need to be purchased between 1st and 7th of October 2021
  • Process of procurement of food coupons and payment will be intimated soon
  • Senior citizens who have serious debility can contact the tower representatives for home delivery of food coupons and collection of money
  • Food will be distributed from each tower lobby for residents of that tower during the times mentioned in your food coupons
  • Senior citizens with serious debility can request to have their food delivered to their doorstep. However, this is subject to availability of personnel of the caterer

How to Order Your Food?

  • Only those residents who have paid the Puja subscriptions 2021-22 are eligible to purchase Food Coupons
  • Please send a WhatsApp to your tower representative (TR)giving your tower & flat number and menu selected
  • If the TR has any doubts s/he will call you for resolution
  • Once your menu selection is understood and agreed you will get a WhatsApp message confirming your choices and informing you of the total payable amount. This message is only a confirmation that the UUC has received your order. You must collect food coupons for finally getting your food on the day
  • Please check the total payable amount and place the money in a sealed envelope and keep it with your tower security
  • Food orders will have to be placed between the 1st &   7th of October 2021
  • Coupons will be kept with respective tower securities for you to pick up. Coupons will be distributed on 8th  & 9th  of October 2021
  • Please keep your coupons securely – there is no provision for issuing duplicate coupons under any circumstance

What Are We Doing to Make Your Food Covid-safe?

  • The entire cooking and packaging process will be in-house inside Upohar
  • Cooking and packing zones will be separated to minimise exposure of food to people
  • Catering staff will be fixed for all 5 days of the Puja
  • All chefs and food-handlers are double vaccinated – vaccine certificates will be with UUC and will be verified by us
  • Strict protocol of 3-ply meisking (covering mouth and nose, and caps will be enforced
  • Food handlers will mandatorily have to wear gloves (hand-care, to minimise skin contact
  • Hand sanitisation protocols will be followed by chefs as handlers
  • A log book will be kept at the entry of the food area where the temperature of every person entering will be logged along with purpose of entry and time
  • Food will be distributed from each tower lobby for residents of that tower during the times mentioned in your food coupons. Covid protocols will be strictly followed.
  • Senior citizens with serious debility can request to have their food delivered to their doorstep. However, this is subject to availability of personnel of the caterer.
